Conservation
The Conservation Department focuses on programs to educate members on the importance of beautifying their communities and preserving natural resources. They sponsor Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) with a weekend walking program and facility support (contact is Carolyn Mangan). They also facilitate numerous environmental education and awareness programs.

The Conservation Committee of the Dominion Woman’s Club presented to Piedmont Dogs Vint Hill
Dog Park a message center for use by dog park visitors. The Conservation Committee would like to thank Carolyn’s husband Pat for his woodworking talents in design and install of the message board. We hope all dog park visitors enjoy the message center for their purposes.
