A Message from Our President - Sandy Malinowski
Greetings from the Dominion Woman’s Club! My name is Sandy Malinowski and I am thrilled to be acting as your DWC President for 2011-12. My Presidential theme is “making connections from the heart…”.
What I have found as 1st VP, working on our fundraisers, inviting guests to our club meetings, maintaining members, soliciting donations, and raising awareness of our club in the community is that nothing happens without that heartfelt connection – you must feel a connection to a cause, a committee, a charity, a business, or a person. Everyone needs a reason to donate their time, effort, and money to something they care about. So it’s those “heart-felt connections” I want to foster in our club! As President, I will strive to make our outstanding clubwomen feel connected and valued, and have some place where you can bring your passion to volunteer in our wonderful club and community! I'd like to officially welcome you to the Dominion Woman's Club! We are so glad you made the heartfelt decision to join a group of wonderful women who make it their mission to make a difference in our Community. My role as 1st Vice President is to oversee the events and activities of our many committees. Whether you'd like to help children improve their reading skills, raise awareness about domestic abuse, assist our veterans and active duty military, help animals or the less fortunate here and around the world, there is a DWC committee to meet your community service passions. Please set aside time to read your New Member binder cover to cover. It gives you all the pertinent information about our Club and Committees - meeting dates/times and contact person. Then join a committee to share your time, talents, skills and passion. Our committees cannot run without you. Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
